  • Lee Strand milk offers all schools - primary & secondary and groups the opportunity to visit our production plant in Ballymullen in Tralee, Co. Kerry.

    The tour consists of viewing all stages of the milk production process followed by refreshments in the boardroom and meeting our mascot Mighty Mikey Milk Lee Strand. All visitors also receive a complimentary goody bag.

    The Milk Production Stages include:

    • Milk Intake - visitors have the opportunity to view the farmers delivering milk direct to the creamery every morning
    • Separation/ Homogenisation/ Pasteurisation of milk
    • Filling of milk cartons and bottles
    • Storage & Distribution of products
    • Laboratory and Testing of milk

    Lee Strand is now offering primary and secondary schools the opportunity to register for a school milk delivery to their school. Now pupils can enjoy the fresh taste of Lee Strand milk for only 25cent per day!

    Lee Strand's 250ml school milk pack have a recloseable screw cap, which is easy to open and close. Register early to avail of a free fridge from the
    National Dairy Council.
